Zinc

Because of its special properties zinc is used in construction, to galvanize other metals. For example, steel street light poles coated in zinc to protect against corrosion.

Tin

Tin has many uses. It is used to coat other metals to prevent corrosion, such as in tin cans, which are made of tin-coated steel.

Lead

Lead is used in batteries. Rechargeable lead-acid batteries are widely used in the automotive industry for starting cars, and they also being used in electric vehicles.

Copper

Copper is a key metal used in wind and solar energy infrastructure, cables and wiring, heating and air conditioning systems, batteries, charging infrastructure and more.

Nickel
